For the time being, I'm back

in every since
I've been in a slump.
It's where I've been. I no
longer feel as if i am a photographer.
I don't feel like I know anything about art.

It's because of these reasons
that I have taken down all of my past work.
It's is only now that I am [reluctantly] adding new work.
I am working primarily now with film and will try to continue to.
Though I am now even reluctant to work in 35mm.

But I thought I'd
let you know.


for the time being, i'm back.

sooo [obviously]
I haven't been so active
on here lately.

Lately.
I've decided to switch
majors to what I should've been
doing all along: photography.
I've been looking and getting an apartment [link] .
Wrapping up ties to texas.
Living in the darkroom,
breathing in the smell of developer, fixer, stop bath, and clearing agent.
Final fix; Wash.
Meeting new people.
Half heartily completing scholarships.
Getting crazy ideas.
About life. love.
Embracing politics
[so far left it's off the spectrum].
Realizing i'm a humanitarian.
Getting ideas about ideas.
Peeling off the coats, jackets, winter skin.
Stepping into spring. Embracing the air.
Singing to myself.
Packing.
Starting [possibly] another
chapter of SDS.
Becoming less and less
trustful of our [my] gov't.


and looking forward to summer.

flickr. I put everything up there... new stuff is uploaded
on an almost daily basis.

[as they are all pretty much documents of my life

i do update my livejournal from time to time.

digital has ruined/spoiled me.
I'm finding that film is much more
complicated than digital. The technical side
of photography is royally kicking my ass here.

Up and start
again. new.
Upasses, trains, cars, and sidewalks.
Money flows down the drain
like the tea I poured down the pipes last night.

Technicality drains the creativity.
Senesces enflame the mind.
Red tape cuts dreams down to a minimal
and sows seeds of educational rebellion.
