Dying In the Suburbs.

it might seem a bit callous, but this whole
leaving chicago business seems to be nothing
more than a big interruption of my life.
Yes, going back to dallas will be sweet.
Yes, it will be good see all my friends again.
But no, I don't want to stay there all summer.
I stayed there for a week during spring break and it
damn near killed me.

All my classes are done and over with
but I still have 3 essays due tomorrow by 12:30pm.
I'm picking up my parents tonight at the airport
with (my boyfriend?) mark.
I'm moving out of the UC tomorrow bright and early (hopefully)..
attending a bit of Manifest.. then showing my bro around
Chicago. Hopefully Pick Me Up will be involved somewhere in there.
I'm flying home saturday at 12pm though and then it's
the long haul of summer for me.


I think this is the 1st time in the history
of my existence that I will not be looking forward to summer.

in chicago, there's always something to do within a train stop distance. But idk alot of my friends are up there still. All the friends I have here are either still away at school or still in school since texas was "awesome" and made the school year start later.

downtown and then when it moved
to Oakcliff.
